How valuations work

Classic cars aren’t like everyday runabouts — they’re rare, sometimes modified, and often invaluable to the right buyer.

So when we assess:

• Make, model & build year
• Originality (stock vs modified)
• Km’s & condition
• Service history & ownership provenance

We’ll typically give you a range upfront, then confirm at your appointment.

You’ll know exactly where you stand — before you bring the car in.

– Where a classic vehicle is undergoing restoration, is not currently drivable, or cannot be readily transported, we may — in appropriate circumstances — offer a complimentary on-site inspection at the vehicle’s location. Availability is assessed case by case.

Transport & inspection flexibility

We understand that many classic cars aren’t daily drivers — some aren’t registered, some are mid-restoration, and some simply don’t leave the garage.

That’s no problem.

• We can organise secure, enclosed transport to collect your car
• Or our specialist assessor can inspect the vehicle at your premises
• We’ll work around your schedule — private and discreet

You never have to risk your vehicle on the road just to get a valuation.

What you need to bring

As mentioned, we work by appointment only.

For classic and historical vehicles, this allows us to ensure secure space is available and that your car receives the care and attention it deserves — consistent with our No Surprises Policy.

At your appointment, please ensure you have:

• Your driver’s licence, or
• Other approved identification
• Registration certificate, or
• Club registration certicate (historical vehicle)
• Proof of ownership

That’s it. No paperwork circus.
